October 7th, 2023 — a day we will never forget. 🕯️🇮🇱 Today, we remember the lives that were taken, the families forever changed, the hostages who were taken from their homes, and everyone who continues to carry the weight of that day. We remember not only with sorrow, but with love. May the memory of those we lost be a reminder of the incredible strength, resilience, and beauty of the Jewish people. In the face of unimaginable darkness, we can choose to come closer — to our Judaism, to our Jewish brothers and sisters around the world, and to our connection with the State of Israel. Being Jewish means that we are part of something larger than ourselves. Across generations, borders, and communities, we are one people. When one of us hurts, we all feel it. And when one of us stands, we all stand a little taller. Let October 7th remind us to never take our community for granted. To celebrate our traditions. To show up for one another.
